Lithe Beauty was born from a quiet rebellion.
As a daughter of Chinese-Vietnamese immigrants, I grew up in a household where makeup wasn’t encouraged; where beauty was seen as distraction, not expression. I didn’t grow up experimenting with lipstick shades or blending eyeshadow in the mirror. I grew up watching my mother apply the same three skincare steps with intention and simplicity. Her approach to beauty was minimalist, timeless, and deeply personal.
Years later, I carried that philosophy into Lithe.What began in our living room—just me, my husband Matt, and a belief that beauty didn’t have to be overcomplicated—has now grown into something so much bigger: a brand for those who want high-performance products that still feel soft, intuitive, and intentional. Products you can count on every single day. No fluff. No excess. Just formulas that glide, define, and stay.
The Heart Behind the Brand
We started Lithe with nothing but a vision, a lot of grit, and our dining table as our first office. Matt sold his car to help fund the business. I tested formulas while caring for our newborn. We’ve worn every hat: packing boxes, answering emails, staying up late wondering how we’d keep going. And somehow, we did. Today, Lithe is still family-run. Still rooted in care. And still committed to creating beauty with purpose. Every launch is intentional. Every product solves a need. And every person in our growing community reminds us why we started in the first place.
